Richard Bruce Ness

Richard Bruce Ness, was appointed as a director of Indika in May 2009. He is the current Head of Resources of Indika since July 2008 and currently he is the President Director Chief and Executive Officer of Petrosea.

Mr. Ness has been involved in the energy, resources and mining sectors for over 30 years. His previous positions include President Director of various Newmont entities, mining consultant at PT Clinton Indonesia and Vice President of PT Freeport Indonesia. Mr. Ness also currently holds the position of Mining Chairman at the American Chamber of Commerce, Indonesia.

He graduated in 1969 from Moorhead Technical Institute, Minnesota, USA with a degree in mechanics and later attended Moorhead State University, Minnesota, USA on a part time basis with additional studies in post secondary education until 1979. He also attended Harvard Business School, USA, completing their program in professional management in 1992.
